WILL BARNET (1911 - 2012)
The Will Barnet Original Graphic Collection pictured began early 1978 when Barbara Henry (living near Will Barnet in Gramercy Park, NYC) would visit, spending time in his studio watching and talking with Will and his wife, Barbara worked at the American Atelier (Circle Gallery) and was able to acquire Will Barnets' work for over 15 years she was associated with Circle Fine Art.
Will Barnet loved simplicity of line and design - taught others, influencing Artists of the "New York School" Rauschenberg, Rosenquist and Katz to name a few of the many artists Will influenced during his lifetime, teaching and printing career. We will miss him
