Born in 1943,  received a BFA in Printmaking from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1966 and an MFA in Printmaking from Tulane University in 1968.  His professional record includes over one hundred awards in major exhibitions since his under graduate graduation.  He has participated in numerous invitational exhibitions and more than one hundred competitive shows at the same time.  He has exhibited in all parts of the country from the Dakotas to Florida,  from Hawaii to New Hampshire.  He is represented in such collections as The Whitney Museum,  The Library of Congress,  The Philadelphia Museum ,  college and university collections throughout the United States.  He has exhibited internationally in England,  Poland,  Italy and Yugoslavia.
